We intend on memorizing one scripture or quote a week throughout this process. This week we decided on a popular classic - John 3:16-17
Everyday we would recite it and to help with the memorization we used the following image that just has the first letters of each word as our hints.
Hymn of the week- Teach Me To Walk In The Light
Every night we sang this song as part of our nightly scripture study. The hope is that by following this repetition we will also be able to memorized multiple versus of songs and not just the first verse of popular songs.
Highlighted Person of the Week: Simon Peter
We opted for Simon Peter not just because he was an apostle but he was person Christ appoint as the president of the church during his time. Brian was able to find interesting facts and resources regarding Simon Peter that he shared during our Family Home Evening.
